Merry Christmas Sweet Zachary

Merry Christmas! This year was special, as little Z enjoyed plenty of time with family and his new toys.

On Friday night, we went with Eric, Alicia, Carter, Dave and Pam to Winterwonderlights in Parker. It was cold, so we spent most of the time in the museum so Z could eat snacks in his PJ's.

On Christmas Eve, we went to Eric and Alicia's to play with Carter's toys before church. As expected, we lasted exactly one whole minute before Z melted and we packed up. He fell asleep in the car by 7:30. Poor guy.

This morning, we woke up and opened presents together. Kyle and I got Z a play castle for the basement. He LOVES the slide. Fun parenting story- we thought we were smart by placing Kimbo's large dog bed at the bottom of the slide and around the 10th slide down, Z gained momentum in his fleece PJ's, hit the pillow and bounced off onto the concrete floor.......on his head. He quickly shook off the bloody nose and he's ok, but it's certainly a memory we won't forget soon. (picture below). Merry Christmas to the best little guy in the world!!

Zachary's Poor Ears

I've been meaning to post an update to Zachary's health, but have been super busy. It took a snow day for me to catch up on the news.

Zachary has been challenged with repeated ear infections. It's been hard on everyone in the family. We've missed work, taken him to the doctor's countless times, ended in the ER, and have been on more antibiotics than I can count.

Last week, we saw an ENT specialist and he suggested we proceed with ear tubes. It's a simple procedure, but it's sad to think about putting Z under anesthetics. We'll be getting to tubes inserted on January 3rd. Happy thoughts and prayers are welcomed.

Tormoehlen Christmas

On Sunday, we went to Pam and Dave's for the Tormoehlen Christmas. We had a great time opening presents, but the BEST gift we got was watching Zachary walk for the first time! He has taken steps before, but Sunday was the official start to walking. He LOVED the cheering!

Zachary ate non-stop the entire day!

Zachary's One Year Photo Shoot

I love our photographer! She's been with us since Z was seven days old. We took advantage of a beautiful day in Colorado for some great photos. Enjoy!

Zachary, Meet Santa. Santa, Hope You Have Earplugs.

Kyle and I took Z shopping today and the line was pretty small to see Santa, so we walked right up!

Zachary still wasn't feeling 100%, so it wasn't a surprise when he screamed his face off while we sat him on a strange man's lap. I just can't stop laughing while I look at these!

A Classic Christmas

We took photos for my work Christmas card today. I work on a Classic Rock station, so I made cards that said, "Wishing you a CLASSIC Christmas and a ROCKIN' New Year". The only challenge was getting Z to sit still! Here are photos of him being s goof.

He thought the poster was a great tent!

I asked him not to shred my poster and he pouted. What a stinker!
