This is probably typical of most new moms, but I think I'm more worried about leaving my job for 12 weeks rather than how I'm going to take care of a baby. My job is super stressful, but I find a little bit of peace knowing I'm not the first mom that's been in the office. I hope I'm the type of mom that starts to look forward to 'adult time' towards the end of my leave. It also helps that I have fabulous clients this year that understand and are empathetic.
I feel great, just have trouble sleeping when the kid starts his evening dance parties around 9pm every night. He finally stopped after an hour last night, but the MINUTE my alarm went off this morning, he was up and at 'em! I have a feeling that he'll be the same when he arrives- filled with dancing and wiggles at night and will jump at the chance to get me up to start the party again as early as possible.
Kyle and I went over to Pam and Dave's on Monday night and Pam showed me photos of Kyle as a baby. He was REALLY cute and full of bleach blonde hair. Maybe I'll try to scan some in to show you. It made me really curious to see what Elvis really looks like! We'll all see in just a few more weeks!

This was the first time Cassandra got to meet
The aftermath. Two boys with no nap, lots of tissue paper and a few (too many) pieces of candy. You boys are party animals!
This box turned into a drum set while the car was getting packed.
Laney and Whitney. They are such great friends.
