Little Fan

Z's school had a theme week, so it was fun dressing him up. Tuesday was sports day, so he broke out his Broncos gear and today is Rockies Opening Day, so we talked to him about baseball this morning while we put on his gear. He had his Rockies cap on, but hated it and threw it off this morning. We're excited to start taking him to some games soon! Go Rockies!!!

Daddy Daycare

Kyle stopped by the daycare this afternoon and sent this to me. He said the other babies were cranky and here was our little man, happy as a clam in his bouncy chair!

Happy Birthday Grandma Sawyer!

Mom (Grandma Sawyer) had her big birthday party this past Sunday. Everyone had so much fun, including little Z. Happy Birthday Grandma Sawyer. We love you so much and think you're the best Grandma ever! Z and his pal Greatgrandpa Rady. We just can't get enough of this hat and his super cool shades.
Drool. Nothing new here!
Z LOVES his photo taken!
Can you believe Colin starts Kindergarten in August?! He was the proud winner of the Uno championship at the party.
Little Dylan, Little Lefty.
Dylan was trying to blow the candles out before the birthday girl. Guess he had a good wish he wanted to get in.
Colin really wanted to hold his cousin, but then started to fear for the throw up.
The worry started here. "Mom! He's going to throw up on me!"

Can you ask for a better moment? These boys love it when she plays songs for them. It's the best sound you've ever heard.

Big Boy!

Zachary is getting to be such a big boy! A month ago, I tried to take out the sling in his tub and he didn't really enjoy it- feeling a little scared. This past weekend, we tried again and he loved it! Hope you enjoy a few of these properly censored photos!

2016

Will robots make me breakfast like the Jetsons?
Will my car drive on power from the sun?
Will Kyle and I finally get one night of sleep?

I'm not sure about what will happen in 2016, but one thing is for sure.......Zachary will be in Kindergarten. Believe it or not, but I put him on the wait list for the Charter School by our house this week. Most parents put their kiddo on the list when they have a SS#, so we're actaully a bit late. It's a great school, so we'll give you an update on this in four years.

In other news, Zachary is spending the evening at daycare for parents night out tonight. It's a great program our daycare has. They will watch Zachary from 6-9 pm for $15! Kyle and I are going to sushi with Sean and Kristy and we're pumped. I brought an extra bottle for him and it spilled all over my car this morning and now my car smells like sour milk. Happy Friday everyone!

Dr Update

We went to see Dr Seigel this morning and had a few updates:

- Z is 13 lbs 4 oz. Although this is HUGE to Kyle and I, he's actually only in the 10th percentile. He dropped a bit of weight while he was sick, so he's got some catching up to do.
- He had a round of shots today and I balled my face off when I heard his cry.
- He's started rice cereal at school and got the ok to add a fruit. Looks like applesauce is on the menu this week.
- We're working on weaning him off the Swaddle Me's. These things are so bittersweet. They kept him asleep for so long, but he's now smart enough to get a hand out during the night and freaks out with his new freedom, so these have got to go. We're starting naps with one arm out this week. Good luck with that, daycare!
- Z is still not sleeping through the night and Dr Seigel anticipates it will still be another month before we get relief. Exhaustion is an understatement. Kyle and I struggle through work and it's beyond challenging to not sleep, but it looks like our little man needs the extra calories at night. Here's to another month of no sleep! Get me some (more) coffee!!
- Z was diagnosed with eczema (got this one from his mom), so we're working on treating this to give him some relief
-Z was also diagnosed with cutest-maxima today. His Dr said he's the cutest baby ever and that he will probably be treated with more hugs and smiles in the next few months. So, we got that going for us.

Next appointment is set for May before our big trip. I also booked his 6 mo shoot with our photographer, so I'm excited for all of you to see some great photos!
