For those that don't know (I didn't until Friday), Coup is an inflammation of the vocal cords, causing a barking, seal-like cough. Additionally, Z lost his voice, so it was awful to watch him cry, without a noise.
We went to the Doctor's on Saturday and tried to relax and keep him close to home. He watched the CU/CSU game with Uncle Luis and Grandma and Grandpa Sawyer came by later in the day to give him his first birthday gift since they will be in AZ on Z's actual day. Mom was one of the first people at Target to give him Rock Star Mickey and Z loved it.
It was great for Z to be loved and cuddled this weekend and we're praying for a little more sleep and a speedy recovery.
