Dear Zachary, YOU'RE ONE!

I'm still smiling as I think about your birthday. We had such a great time. And you had MORE than a good time. You didn't really know what was going on, but when you woke up, your Grandma was in your house and you had new toys waiting for you. Your Dad got you your very own vacuum and you loved it.

You played all morning in your PJ's and when you woke up, we headed to your party at the Children's Museum. You were so lucky to have about 30 people come to celebrate your special day.

Your Mom and Dad LOVE a good party, so we pulled out all of the stops to throw you a memorable bash- and it WAS!!!

We played for an hour or so at the museum and then had cake and presents. Some fun memories from your party:

• Having your best friend William there to practice walking



• Slamming the kitchen cabinets in the play house
  
  


• Your Uncle Eric blowing monster bubbles in the exhibit. Kids were 'oooooo'ing' and 12 deep in line to try it themselves.



• Your Dad backing into your Mom's car on the way to the party. (everyone is ok, cars are ok. )



• Your Mom and Dad's faces when the catering place told them they didn't have their order for the day.



• You eating your cake. You could've sat there all day. You were goin' to TOWN!
  
  


• Your cousins helping to open your gifts. Colin would hold each one up so everyone could see



• Your GREATgrantparents coming to sing to you



• Your Mom and Dad's friends the Kummers coming down
  

You had SUCH a great day and we were happy to celebrate the joy of your birthday. You have brought us unimaginable love and happiness and we're truly blessed to have you in our lives.

So, Happy 1st Birthday Big Guy. You are the most incredible person to us and we're blessed you're here with us.
