- Zachary is constantly learning new words and phrases. Last night, I taught him to say "I Love You". It's the most incredible thing you've ever heard. It sounds like "Eye Ou Ooooh", but it's the sweetest thing. As of now, I'm the only one he's allowed to say this to, just because I'm the mom.
- We're in the process of moving daycares. This is a big move, as Zachary's cousins attend his school and he's been there almost every day since he was 12 weeks old. We're looking at a Montessori school close to my work and this place is ridiculous- in price and in what they do. Most children can read by preschool, do multiplication, and know countries around the world. What's different about Montessori schools is they teach kids about work and try and make it fun. Kids are allowed to play and learn, but are taught to clean up after themselves and their peers. Literally, they were teaching 18 month old kids how to wash windows- and they were loving it! It will be a tough transition, for Zachary and our bank account, but we really think Zachary will thrive. He enjoys doing tasks around the house (sweeping, helping with the dishwasher, vacuuming, and putting toys away).
- Saturday was Dave's graduation from Regis. He completed his MBA and we're all proud of him. We all went to the ceremony on Saturday- it was HOT! Zachary and I took a break in the shade and I saw him throw bark onto another little boy standing by. Immediately, I went over to Zachary and said, "No, that's NOT NICE". Zachary, turned to the boy and said "You NOT NICE". It was so hard not to laugh. Little stinker. After the ceremony, we went to brunch with the family and then headed to the Walsh's for the Kentucky Derby. Needless to say, Zachary passed out by 6pm that night. He was ZONKED.
Next weekend Mom and Dad come back from AZ for Kristy's Graduation on Saturday. It will be fun to celebrate with everyone. We also have Cara and Austin in town for her birthday, so hoping we get to see them too.
May is a great month and we're excited for the next few weeks!!
